No. 13 CSM captures Coast Conference title; winning streak at 12 matches
SAN MATEO – The No. 13 state-ranked College of San Mateo women's volleyball team surged to its 12th straight win with a 3-0 sweep of visiting City College of San Francisco on Friday night.
The Bulldogs' 25-8, 25-13, 25-9 victory also secured at least a share of the 2025 Coast Conference South Division championship. It marks San Mateo's second conference title in program history. Head coach Katie Goldhahn and her 2022 Bulldogs were also Coast Conference South Division champs.
Friday's win improved CSM to 20-5 overall and a perfect 8-0 in Coast Conference play with just two matches remaining in the regular season. At 6-2, Ohlone and West Valley both trail the Bulldogs by two matches. A win by CSM in either of their final two contests would give the squad an outright Coast Conference championship.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday (Nov. 12) to host Skyline and travel to West Valley on Friday (Nov. 14) to close the regular season. Both matches are set for 6:30 p.m. starts.
