Dorn leads CSM with second-place finish at Coast Conference Championships
BELMONT – Ericka Dorn continued an impressive freshman season for College of San Mateo as she ran 19:13.4 on her home course Crystal Springs to finish in second place at the 2024 Coast Conference Championships on Wednesday.
Fellow freshman Deia Kerseg-Foreman was also a top finisher, clocking in at 19:49.7 on the 2.95-mile course to take fifth place. Both Dorn and Kerseg-Foreman earned All-Coast Conference honors.
Violeta Vasquez-Lopez was 16th at 22:55.3 to round out the CSM women at the meet.
The San Mateo men's squad totaled 108 points to end in fifth place in final standings at the Coast Conference Championships.
Nathan Loof led the Bulldogs with his 19th-place showing. He cleared the 4-mile Crystal Springs course with a time of 23:50.1.

Up next for the Bulldogs is the Northern California Regional Championships on Nov. 8 at Toro Park in Salinas. All three CSM women as well as the Bulldogs men's team will compete at regionals.
