SAN MATEO – The No. 12 state-ranked College of San Mateo women's volleyball team cruised to its sixth straight win, a 3-0 Coast Conference sweep of visiting Ohlone College on Friday.
CSM took the match by scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-20, marking the squad's sixth consecutive sweep as well.
Kendall Lee led the Bulldogs' offense with 11 kills as she hit an impressive .611 for the match. Synia Hunt added 10 kills, Kathleen Suayan had a team-high 14 digs, and Alyssa Polanco led with 33 assists.
Earlier in the week on Wednesday, San Mateo dominated in a 25-14, 25-11, 25-10 win at San Jose City College. Addison Turner led with 7 kills, Ekinadese Okhomina added 6 kills, and Polanco had a match-high 20 assists.
CSM is 14-5 overall and 2-0 in the Coast Conference South Division. The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday (Oct. 22) when they travel to City College of San Francisco for a 6:30 p.m. match.
